You are an olympic athlete in training and you want to know how the times of the winners of the 100 yard dash compare with the year.  It is up to you to research this information using the links below, then create a scatterplot of the information and make predictions based upon your line of best fit.

Your Team’s Steps:

  1.  Collect data for a either the men’s or woman’s 100 yard dash time (in seconds) from 1956 through today.
  2.  Create a table of menu items with their corresponding year and time on your Google Sheets team page, slide #4.
  3.  Create a scatter plot of your data using the Technology Master’s knowledge on your Google Sheets team page, slide #4.
  4.  Make a line of best fit for you data using the Futurist’s knowledge on your Google Sheets team page, slide #4.
  5. Make a prediction(s) on slide #5 of your Google Sheets team page based upon the year and time.  Give a specific example.
