Description
In this self-checking, self-paced activity, students get out of their seats, talk math and practice solving one-step equations involving addition and subtraction.
Students will need to solve each equation for x order to find each solution and make a complete loop in the scavenger hunt. Students will start at any problem and work their way through twelve problems.
They will solve each problem for x and then look around the room at the top of the papers to find their answer. Students will use their answer from the previous question to find the next problem.
Students should write down the doodle picture of each problem or the corresponding letter that they are on so that the teacher can easily tell whether the students are completing the problems correctly through the given answer key loop.
There is a student work space sheet included in this product for students to use during the scavenger hunt to keep their work organized.
