In this activity students cut out 12 puzzle pieces where they have to simplify 22 problems involving multiplication and division properties of exponents and match them to their corresponding answers. The puzzle should form a four by three rectangle. There is an optional placemat for students to use to lay out their puzzle, glue down their pieces and reminds them of the multiplication and division properties of exponents. An answer key is included on a separate page from the student handout. The doodle fonts in the middle of each puzzle piece make it easy for the teacher to quickly check the students work for accuracy.
