This is my first sixth grade math unit, Math Numeration, where I spend time building on student’s math knowledge of place value. They work on comparing both whole numbers and decimals. From there I continue to explore numbers through the use of exponents.
With each lesson, I have the students use these foldables that help to outline the lesson for students to take notes as they are learning. They are easy to use because they require a quick fold and maybe one or two cuts.
